The VMG Internship Program is an internship program for college students. Its objective is to introduce college students with majors in Communications/Media/Event Management/Project Management to career opportunities where they can gain practical experience and training in the related fields. This program also introduces participants to subject matter in the area of VMG's core competencies: nonprofit management, volunteer management, grant writing and corporate philanthropy.
The VMG internship opportunities are excellent for someone who is an independent, self-starter that wants to learn to be a productive contributor to a team working remotely but can take direction and run with it. These are all work-from-home internships; however, interns are supervised by Julie Marks, VMG's president and founder.
All positions are paid internships. The intern is expected to commit a minimum of 5 hours per week (can be more depending on availability) starting in January. Interns are invited to participate in VMG's online and classroom classes if the classes are running during the internship period.
